EMMERDALE fans are all sick and tired of the doom and gloom and misery-laden episodes of the soap.
In tonight’s edition Dawn Taylor laid into former stepmum Harriet Finch for betraying her and having Clemmie taken into care.
Dawn had wanted to look after Clemmie when she discovered her living with a drug addict
Last week Harriet called Social Services after realising what Dawn was risking by keeping Clemmie, having bought her from a drug addict after her mum’s death.
But when they removed the child to take her to a foster family, Dawn was devastated.
And tonight she lashed out at Harriet over it.
Harriet told her: “You can’t just pluck a child out of her home without telling anyone.
“Your instinct was right but child protection services exist for a reason, Dawn. You’re twisting everything.”
But Dawn couldn’t stay sane and instead ripped into Harriet – using everything she could to hurt her.
“Weren’t worried about the rules when you were burying Malone, were you?” she said.
“But a neglected child – wow, hang on. You were protecting your dirty little secret.
“You bang on about caring for me and protecting me but it’s all garbage. You don’t understand any of this because you have never been a mother.
“I will never forgive you for what you have done to me or to Clemmie. You and me are done.”
Harriet was left crushed by Dawn’s cruel words but Emmerdale fans were sick of yet more doom and gloom in the village.
One wrote: “This Dawn/Clemmie storyline is ridiculous.”
While this one said: “The Dawn storyline really isn’t necessary.”
