CoronationStreet’s Paddy Bever has teased danger for Max Turner as he ‘steps into the eye of the storm

Max is being bullied by Blake and Chris and things are set to escalate

Max has been trying to turn over a new leaf after wreaking havoc on the Cobbles earlier in the year.

But since being expelled from Weatherfield High, Max has been catfished by his bullies and then blackmailed into a terrible scam.

Speaking exclusively to HOAR Online at the Inside Soap Awards, actor Paddy has revealed things are only going to get worse for Max.

He said: “There is a lot of potential danger. Max is currently sitting right in the middle of it in the eye of the storm.

“And he’s about to enter more of the storm, in some ways willingly and in others unwillingly.”

And it seems the storm will rage on until Christmas for Max as Paddy added: “I can tease that it won’t be a very calm and peaceful Christmas.”

Paddy attended Monday’s ceremony to pick up the award for Best Family for the Platts.

Speaking about his soap family and why they’re such fan favourites, he said: “So I think the most exciting thing about the Platts is that element of danger.

“How they always seem to find themselves in trouble, and they never seem to back down and they’re very unapologetic.

“They have a real charisma and I think that element of danger runs through each generation, which is what makes it so exciting.”

Meanwhile, HOAR Online has exclusively revealed how Stephanie Beacham is returning to the soap after 12 years.

The 75 year-old icon will reprise her role as Martha Fraser, with a source telling us: “ITV bosses are thrilled that Stephanie is returning to the show.

“They have been desperate to get her back for years, so this will be a huge moment when she returns to screens.

“She was a huge fan favourite and the return of Martha is set to cause shockwaves in Weatherfield.”
