AFTER months of getting glammed-up to go to the supermarket during lockdown, Emily Atack now has good reason to put on her glad rags.
We can reveal the actress has signed up for ITV’s Celebrity Juice, alongside Love Island host Laura Whitmore, when the series returns this autumn.
Her addition to the panel game — hosted by Keith Lemon — comes after long-standing team captain Holly Willoughby quit in May following what she called “12 years of fantastic chaos”.
Holly was followed to the exit by fellow captain Mel B.
Emily, star of The Inbetweeners and 2018 I’m A Celebrity runner-up, was the bookies’ favourite to fill one of the empty chairs.
An ITV source said: “The show definitely needed a bit of a shake-up and bosses hope Emily and Laura can do that. It’s one of ITV’s biggest brands and there’s still lots of fun to be had with it.
“Keith can’t wait to initiate the new team captains into the show and there are plenty of surprises lined up for viewers.”
Fearne Cotton, one of the original captains, left in 2018, while Keith has hosted the show since it began in 2008.
Emily appeared as a guest in April and scored a bonus point for her team after sharing a cheeky kiss on the lips with Scary Spice.
She recently revealed how getting smartened up to go food shopping boosted her mood in lockdown. Speaking on Good Morning Britain, she said: “I now get glammed-up to go to the local supermarket.
“I queue outside and stand the two metres. It’s like queuing up for a bar. I do get glammed-up for the supermarket. It makes me feel better.”
Now Emily can do her weekly shop on her way to the studio.

Jade legs it to Mix shoot
JADE Thirlwall appears very laidback about filming the video for Little Mix’s latest track, Holiday.
The singer showed off her bronzed legs as she posed in a black-and-white cutout swimming costume during the shoot.
She was filming on Saturday after returning from a loved-up break to Venice with her new boyfriend, Rizzle Kicks singer Jordan Stephens.
In another Instagram photo from the shoot, Jade donned a mermaid’s outfit and poked fun at Jess Glynne’s recent account of getting turned away from posh eatery Sexy Fish for not wearing the right outfit.
Jade wrote: “On my way to Sexy Fish . . . hope they let me in.”
They would be flippin’ mad not to.
Brooklyn in Crossfire on ex’s album
WHEN it comes to choosing his wedding playlist, there is one singer Brooklyn Beckham will surely swerve: Ex-girlfriend Hana Cross.
We can reveal the model and influencer is launching a singing career and Hana will be pouring her heart out in lyrics about Brooklyn.
Hana, who recently hit the studio to record her debut record, sings: “I wish that someone told me you had a habit for dishonesty . . . though you break my heart, I want to stay.”
The pair split last summer following a series of public rows – including one at Glastonbury Festival, where Brooklyn partied with his parents Victoria and David.
The wannabe snapper soon found love again in the wake of the split, this time with the American actress Nicola Peltz. The pair got engaged last month.
A source close to Hana told us: “She is still raw from her split with Brooklyn and it pains her to see him so happy.
“Her record has a few heartbreak songs and she isn’t afraid of expressing how she feels.
“It’s probably best that Brooklyn steers well clear of it when the record comes out.”
We doubt it will be making his Spotify playlist either way.
Alex still has Carnival spirit
ALEXANDRA Burke is marking Notting Hill Carnival with new single Naturally, featuring Beenie Man.
She is an ambassador for the three-day London street bash, which this year is online-only.
Alexandra said: “Grab yourself a rum punch and dance away this carnival weekend and beyond.”
Robbie’s on charcoal pills
ROBBIE Williams has been forced to take charcoal pills by wife Ayda Field to stop him breaking wind in front of her.
Speaking to her husband on their podcast (Staying) At Home With The Williamses, Ayda said: “Every three minutes you let out what is at least a five to ten-second fart and you think it is cute.”
It isn’t the first time she has complained.
On Celebrity Juice in November, Ayda said she would like a special clause when they renew their wedding vows banning Robbie from breaking wind in her presence.
She added: “There’s some violent farting.”
To have and to hold. . . them in.
