However, Amanda stopped in her tracks when she spotted Simon‘s face in a wall as she dined outside.

Taking to her Instagram Story, the Britain’s Got Talent judge shared a snap of the rock wall – which could be seen between two barrels that were holding up a table of wine and glasses.

“Is anyone else seeing @simoncowell here,” she asked her 1.5 million followers alongside a heart emoji.

No doubt Amanda’s fans found the whole thing hilarious and inundated her with their thoughts on the matter.

Her post comes a couple of days after she sent Simon well wishes following his bike accident in Los Angeles last week.

The music mogul broke his back whilst testing out his new electric bike and ended up having six hours of emergency surgery in California.

Posting a selfie of them on the BGT panel, Amanda wrote: “I’ve been thinking about my dear friend all day and luckily I’m able to say (with blessing) that he’s had his operation and he’s doing really well.

“Chris Lexi Hollie and me wish you a speedy recovery and send you, Lauren and Eric all our love ❤,” she added.

It’s been reported that dad-of-one Simon will not be able to walk for weeks following his operation.

Doctors have warned the telly mogul, 60, he faces a long and difficult recovery that will involve intensive physiotherapy and wearing a back brace.

A source said: “It’s going to take him weeks, maybe months.”

Despite the recovery ahead, crocked Simon joked from a hospital bed about breaking his back after pulling a wheelie on a powerful new electric bike, saying: “I should have read the manual.”
