ANT and Dec tuck into Welsh cakes in the new I’m A Celebrity advert – but still think they’re in Australia.
The pair stumble across a local pub restaurant on their hunt for the I’m A Celeb camp and ask the waitress for “authentic Aussie tucker”.
A cheery Ant says: “G’day Shiela, throw a couple of shrimps on the barbie would ya!”
They ask for “Australian grub” – and Dec peruses the menu but his jaw drops as he spots “Welsh cakes”.
He asks: “Where are they from?” and the waitress replies in a thick Welsh accent “Sydney.”
To which Ant replies: “Ah Syndey of course, authentic!”
This year’s fun kicks off at a castle in North Wales on November 15th due to Covid restrictions.
And the Geordie hosts will hopefully find their way to Grwych Castle in Abergele by November 15th just in time.
They’ve been dropping teasers for the new revamped show since October and were seen getting drenched in North Wales as they wandered across a bridge last week.
Stars taking part in the show are likely to face sub-zero temperatures after it was moved from Australia to Wales due to the coronavirus pandemic.
ITV chiefs have now taken expert medical advice on how the celebs can avoid frostbite and hypothermia in the howling Welsh winter.
As a result, they have bought top-of-the range outdoor clothing, sleeping bags and even scores of insulating foil blankets usually used for marathon runners.
Meanwhile, Ant and Dec will return to screens on November 8th ahead of the launch on I’m A Celeb.
They’ll finally do a Bushtucker Trial after years of laughing at contestants on the ITV show.
The Geordie duo host a one-off celebration of the 20th series airing on Sunday with a look back on the show’s best bits.
