ALESHA Dixon left Britain’s Got Talent fans scratching their heads tonight after her earring disappeared midway through an act.

Alesha, 42, was sat in her usual seat on the BGT judging panel for the series’ hotly-anticipated final when the gold dangler vanished during one of the performances.

Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon wore dramatic gold earrings for the final

But one vanished during magician Damien O’Brien’s act

It then mysteriously returned in time for the rest of the show

As magician Damien O’Brien wrapped up on stage, the camera focussed on the star and she only had one half of the enormous pair in.

It had then returned by the time she and her fellow judges – David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Ashley Banjo – had given Damien their critiques and continued to the next act.

Some fans were so perplexed that they wondered if it had all been part of the hopeful’s act.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: “Is it just me or has anyone else noticed Alesha Dixon was missing an earring 1-minute and then it reappeared the next how strange #BGT.”

Alesha wowed at the final thanks to her beautiful dress

Another mused: “Can any magician find Alesha’s other earring?!”

One even said: “That Damien magician is brilliant he even made Alisha’s right earring disappear [sic].”

The BGT final kicked off with Alesha wowing the audience at home with her gorgeous greeny-yellow sheer dress with extravagant ruffles.

Fellow judge Amanda, meanwhile, left fans shocked as she decided to “cover up” for the night.

It comes after the mum-of-two sparked thousands of complaints to television watchdog Ofcom for her daring dresses throughout the semi-finals.

The live 2020 final was postponed until now due to the coronavirus pandemic

Later in the night, singer Jon Courtenay was crowned the winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2020.

The comic and musician had previously been BGT presenters’ Ant and Dec’s Golden Buzzer Act.

Jon fought off nine other acts for the winning title.
