FED-UP Britain’s Got Talent fans have flocked to social media to slam Simon Cowell for “constantly chewing gum”.
The 60-year-old star was branded “disgusting and disrespectful” by some viewers, with the judge seen chewing throughout today’s episode of the ITV show.
Taking to Twitter, one fan moaned: “Why is Simon chewing all the time? It looks so ignorant.”
Another added: “Am finding Simon Cowell chewing gum incredibly annoying.”
A third seethed: “Very bad manners @SimonCowell on @BGT CHEWING GUM”.
One more snapped: “Stop chewing Simon – it’s so rude!”
BGT fans have also been left stunned by Simon’s overhauled image in this series of the show, which hit our screens last month.
The father-of-one has had a shock transformation after shedding one and a half stone last year – losing four inches from his waist after embarking on a new vegan diet.
He used to binge on sausage rolls, hamburgers and his favourite jam tarts made by his personal chefs before ditching all meat and dairy.
A fall that he suffered on the stairs of his London home in October 2017 served as the wake up call Simon needed to try and be a little healthier.
He admitted that he blamed his injuries on his unhealthy lifestyle where he “lived like a vampire” staying awake till 8am every morning.
The star previously said of his transformation: “If you’re on a diet you have to keep the food sensible, but it’s got to be interesting and tasty, then the diet’s surprisingly easy.
“I’m on a diet but it doesn’t feel like it now because the food I eat is really healthy and I don’t find it tedious. If it’s boring you won’t stick to it.”
