SIMON Cowell has come face-to-face with a familiar person on this year’s Britain’s Got Talent as Lioz Shem Tov has already performed for the music mogul in the past.

The mentalist mind reader manages to rope judge Amanda Holden into his latest stunt, but Simon has apparently seen him before.

Britain’s Got Talent hopeful Lioz Shem Tov has been on other versions of the show in the past

Lioz has performed on America’s Got Talent as well as Australia’s Got Talent – where he made it to the finals in 2019.

Simon, 60, heads up the judging panel for the US version of the reality TV show – so there’s no doubt he has seen Lioz perform before.

However, it’s not evident in the clip from tonight’s show, whether or not he recognises the performer from Tel Aviv.

It’s not the first time Simon has seen Lioz perform

But the father-of-one was certainly impressed with Lioz’s audition as he was seen laughing once it was over.

Lioz invited Amanda, 49, up onstage to show off his technique – and had the live audience in stitches.

In scenes, which were filmed before the UK government ordered a lockdown due to the global coronavirus pandemic, Lioz stands back to back with Amanda.

As he asks the blonde star to choose a plastic bag out of a box – Lioz pretends he is going to guess which colour she has chosen.

However, instead he is seen scoffing a banana and as they turn to face each other, Lioz pops the banana skin into the bag that Amanda is holding.

Simon, along with David Walliams and Alesha Dixon all cracked up laughing at the act – which is no doubt a good sign for Lioz.
