DECLAN Donelly made Ant McParlin disappear as he loved off his magic trick in a hilarious new sketch.
The Geordie duo regularly take to Instagram to try and put a smile on their 4.1m follower’s faces – and this time they certainly didn’t disappoint.
The video started with Dec, 44, reading through his Britain’s Got Talent script, when he suddenly whipped out a magic wand from the back of his pocket.
He soon realised that he could make objects disappear and went to find Ant, 44, to do exactly the same thing to him.
The BGT presenter was minding his own business before Dec got his wand out and made in poof into thin air.
Dec ran around the studios to pick the best place for Ant to reappear in – and he picked the other side of the gate to he was locked out of the building.
They captioned the post: “Pretty fond of my wand! #deccypotter”
Fans flocked to the comment section to praise the boys on their hilarious work.
One wrote: “Nah when I saw the ‘wand’ caption I was just-“
Another commented: “So funny ”
A third said: “love these little videos”
A fourth wrote: “This is great. Put a smile on my face after bad day.”
Another joked: “ dont think @stephenmulhern will be pleased to find out your messing around with magic again… ”
The pair returned to our screens earlier this month to co-host Britain’s Got Talent.
Since airing on September 5, the ITV programme has sparked controversy after Diversity performed a BLM dance which saw a police officer kneeling on Ashley Banjo.
The dance depicted the moments before the death of George Floyd, a black man who died in the US in May after a white police officer knelt on his neck.
Despite the performance being backed by ITV, it has gone on to receive a whopping 24,500 complaints, making it close to being the most complained-about moment of the decade.
It follows shortly behind the 25,327 who objected to Celebrity Big Brother’s ‘punchgate’ row involving Roxanne Pallett and Ryan Thomas.
A further 1,700 complained to TV watchdog Ofcom about Alesha Dixon’s Black Lives Matter necklace that she wore during the semi-finals last week.
Meanwhile, three acts – Steve Royle, Aaron and Jasmine and Magical Bones – have been put through to the final.
They’re battling out the chance to win £250,000 and the opportunity to perform their act at the Royal Variety Performance.
The final will air on October 10 2020.
