MATT Lucas has dropped the biggest hint yet that he’s bringing back Little Britain with David Walliams after their Big Night In performance.

The legendary comedy duo returned to TV for the first time in more than decade last night to raise funds to provide support during the coronavirus pandemic.

David Walliams and Matt Lucas reunited for a Little Britain sketch last night

And this morning Matt has suggested the reunion won’t be a one-off after he was asked by ITV’s Lorraine Kelly if a comeback of the show was on the cards.

He said: “Yes, why not, it would be fun.

“We’ve both got quite a lot on, but we’re definitely up for doing more.

“It might be nice doing a stage tour or a podcast, that would be fun.

“Or maybe even doing the TV show again, who knows.”

Matt and David – who recorded the funny sketch from the comfort of their own homes – wore homemade costumes as they took on their iconic characters once again.

Fans couldn’t contain their laughter as the likes of Lou and Andy, Majorie Dawes, Vicky Pollard and Bubbles Devere returned.

Little Britain, which started in 2003, made a final outing on 2009’s Comic Relief, while David portrayed Lou Todd and Emily Howard in later charity sketches without Matt.

Prior to October’s radio special, Walliams and Lucas had not worked together since 2010 comedy series Come Fly With Me.

The comedy duo fell out for many years and stopped working with each other in 2011, amid reports the friendship had become strained.
