DANCING ON ICE fans were left fuming during Movie Week and accused the judges of “undermarking” Nile Wilson.

Olympian Nile performed a Mission Impossible-inspired routine for this week’s live show, succeeding in the judges’ challenge of a 2ft high jump.

However, despite remaining a firm favourite and high scorer throughout Dancing On Ice, viewers were baffled as scores took longer to come through than normal, with a technical glitch meaning the marks didn’t come up on the screen.

When they finally were, viewers weren’t happy as Nile and pro partner Olivia Smart only scored 35 points.

“The weird scores must explain the technical issues with the cameras. They were all clearly in shock in the gallery and trying to check those scores weren’t supposed to be 9.5s or 10,” said one.

A second wrote on Twitter: “This has got to be rigged!! Nile was skating independently for most of it! He has clearly been the best tonight, what a fix.”

“What does Nile have to do to get the score he deserve? Such biased judging…Some get extra points for trying,” wrote a third.

Nile and Olivia were brilliant, they were undermarked again tonight,” added a fourth.

Regardless, Nile and his pro partner Olivia managed to do enough to secure their spot for another week in the competition thanks in part to the audience vote.

Comedian Darren Harriott and The Wanted’s Siva Kaneswaran landed in the bottom two and had to face the dreaded skate-off.

Darren and his pro partner Tippy were sent home.

Dancing On Ice airs Sundays at 6.30pm on ITV and is available to stream on ITVX.
