Tonight, Dancing On Ice saw Olympian Nile Wilson crowned the winner, as he beat Joey Essex and The Vivienne to the trophy.

Nile, 27, and his pro dancer partner Olivia were announced as the winners, as Joey, 32, and Vanessa Bauer came in second.

The Vivienne was voted out ahead of the iconic Bolero performance, leaving the two couples to go head-to-head in the final.

It was soon announced that the Olympics star would be crowned winner – and his co-stars rallied round to celebrate.

However, fans were quick to notice that as the result was revealed by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, one skater looked “furious”.

Viewers noted how Vanessa, 26, looked “pissed off with Joey” as it was revealed they would not take home the trophy.

“Vanessa looked so pissed off with Joey after that,” one fan wrote to Twitter, as another said; “Vanessa ain’t happy. Poor Joey.”

“Vanessa looks pissed off,” a third said, while a fourth added: “Is it just me or did Vanessa not look pleased?”

“I’ve never seen Vanessa channelling Katya [from Strictly] more in my entire life, the furious muttering under her breath,” a fifth wrote.

“Vanessa is not a happy,” a fifth penned, as a sixth jokingly concluded: “Anyone else think that Vanessa will dump Joey now?”

Despite the angry looks, Joey insisted he was pleased for his co-star, as he congratulated him on the result.

He said: “I am so happy for Nile and Olivia – I know I missed a few steps. Best time of my life, thank you to everyone.”

Nile and Olivia lifted the trophy as the series came to a close, as they were surrounded by their cheering former co-stars.

Nile told viewers at home: “It’s meant so much to me. I want to thank everyone who voted back home.

“If Dancing On Ice is anything other than entertainment – we’ve got 11 human beings of all different shapes and sizes stood on this stage with an allocated time to get good at something.

“We’ve proved that we can do it, and what an inspirational show.”

“If you work hard and you put your mind to it, you can achieve anything you want to,” he emotionally told fans.
