Christopher Dean didn’t hold back

After the jeers stopped, Christopher cheekily hit back saying: “I love that there’s so many experts in the room!”

He then went on to back up his decision to award Mollie a 6.5, telling her: “You started off great, but when you started skating yourself, it slowed right down, your confidence is down a bit.”

Christopher set her a goal, adding: “I’ll throw a challenge out to you; next week, do you want to be the first person to do the headbanger?”

Mollie excitedly replied: “Yes!”

It was a night of surprises as Ekin-Su and pro skater Brendyn Hatfield brought disc’s boyfriend Davide made an appearance on the Dancing On Ice rink with a skate to Car Wash by Dance X Winners.

But sadly it wasn’t enough to keep her in the competition, as she landed in the bottom two with Patsy Palmer.

Ekin-Su was driven to tears after the emotional skate-off saw her dumped from Dancing on Ice.

All four of the skate competition’s judges chose to save Patsy over Ekin-Su, leaving the former Love Island winner in floods of tears.

Ekin-Su achieved a 23/40 in her original dance, matching her score from the previous week and placing her bottom of the leaderboard.

This came after she was revealed to have pulled a muscle just hours before the show started, forcing her to ditch a move from her routine.

The judges gave Mollie a 6.5
