I’M A Celeb’s reigning Queen of the Jungle Jill Scott has revealed her hopes to one day trade in the outback for ice skates on Dancing On Ice.
The football player stormed to victory on the Australian series at the end of 2022, after fans fell in love with her calm demeanour, friendly nature, and love of cheesy jokes.
The win capped off a stellar year for Jill who had already become a national hero thanks to the England Lionesses winning the Euros 2022.
Now she’s making plans for the future after I’m A Celeb – and that could include her heading to a chilly ice rink to learn how to skate on Dancing On Ice, rather than put on the glitz on BBC rival, Strictly.
Speaking at the FWA North East Awards, Jill told betting agency William Hill: “I don’t know about Strictly Come Dancing, because I’ve got two left feet. However, I used to be able to ice skate when I was younger, so let’s see about that!
“Last year was a bit of a crazy year, but I’m excited for the future. I’ve turned Love Island down three times! No, I’m only joking…”
“Life’s definitely been different since going on I’m A Celebrity, but in a nice way,” she added. “People come up to me and congratulate me, and I’ve had some great conversations and met some great people.”
“Nothing’s been confirmed yet, but I’ve put my CV in for a few football coaching jobs,” Jill then teased about what lies ahead in her career.
“I’m hoping to do some coaching with the boys and girls academy at Manchester City. I really want my legacy to be within the game – I know people see me now and say, ‘there’s that girl from the jungle!’, but football is my passion and hopefully I have a future in it.”
For now, Jill has become the first ever female captain for the annual Soccer Aid charity drive.
She will represent the England XI team when the game returns in June.
In the meantime, Dancing On Ice 2023 will reach its conclusion this weekend.
Joey Essex, Nile Wilson and The Vivienne will go head-to-head for the championship trophy on Sunday night.
As part of their final performances, they have to put their own twist on Torvill and Dean’s classic Bolero routine.
