HOLLYOAKS actress Jennifer Metcalf was seemingly one of the biggest victims of the suspected curse from Dancing On Ice.
The 39-year-old actress first got together with Sylvain Longchambon in 2011 when the pair competed together on the sixth series of ITV’s long-running skating competition.
But Jennifer’s world fell apart when she revealed the Frenchman left her on Christmas Day in 2013.
He then went on to date his series eight Dancing On Ice partner Samia Ghadie, although the Coronation Street actress denied having anything to do with their break-up.
At the time, Jen told HOAR how breaking up with Sylvain felt “like a death”.
However, proving she is the bigger person, whilst Samia and Sylvain are happily together with a kid Yvesshe, Jennifer still sent her support to him despite their bitter breakup.
The Hollyoaks beauty, 34, clearly held no grudge against her ex-boyfriend and was actually rooting for him to win the show with her co-star pal Stephanie Waring.
Jennifer told Sun Online: “I watched Dancing on Ice the other night and Steph is doing really well. I think she’ll go really far.”
Speaking about her ex she said: “She’s got a good partner,” adding “I think they will go all the way.”
Jen showed no animosity towards him when asked if she reckons Steph should trip him up.
She laughed: “No, she doesn’t need to do that. They are a good team.”
However the actress swiftly moved on, initially finding love with former Geordie Shore star Greg Lake.
The pair welcomed their first son on 20th June 2017, whom they named Daye Colmic Lake.
But they later split up after eight years together in 2020 where she insisted the break-up was amicable in an Instagram statement.
More recently, Jennifer dumped her toyboy boyfriend after learning of his past.
The Hollyoaks star ended their short-lived relationship in September 2022 and said she would remain friends with Josh Cox.
HOAR previously revealed Jennifer, 38, was dating businessman Josh Cox, 22, in August last year.
However pals said when she learned of his previous playboy antics, she chose to cool off their romance.
A source said: “Jen ended things with Josh and they’re just going to stay friends.
“They had great fun while it lasted but Josh has a bit of a reputation as a lothario and Jen didn’t want to be caught up in that.”
