JOEY Essex revealed a nasty looking injury on his finger just hours before hitting the ice.
The 32-year-old will be competing with Vanessa Bauer on Dancing On Ice this evening despite appearing to have had an ice related accident.
Joey shared an emoji of an ice block and played the track Frostbite by rapper Preme, as he revealed the latest injury.
He then told fans he would be “surfing on ice” this evening as he stripped off to just his swim shorts, while Vanessa giggled beside him.
Just last week he was laid up in bed after another skating injury, telling fans at the time that he had had “better days”.
During last Sunday’s show Joey left fans cringing after kissing Vanessa live on air.
The ex-Towie star got carried away at the end of their High School Musical routine for movie week – and Vanessa appeared to wince before trying to laugh it off.
When host Phillip Schofield mentioned it, Joey claimed it was Vanessa’s “first kiss on TV ever”, to which she kept quiet.
The pair scored 32.5 and will skate again this evening alongside Mollie Gallagher and Carley Stenson, drag act The Vivienne, pop star Siva Kaneswaran and athlete Nile Wilson.
Last week Darren Harriett became the fifth celebrity to be voted off the ITV show.
He was in the skate off with pop star Siva Kaneswaran.
