THE Dancing On Ice judges could not hide their shock during last night’s final when dark horse Joe Swash was crowned this year’s winner.

The 38-year-old star and partner Alex Murphy beat favourite Perri Kieley to taking home the trophy in the nail-biting finale – with Joe clearly surprised by his victory.

And he wasn’t the only one unable to believe what had happened, with the judges being caught on camera expressing their bewilderment.

After Joe’s name was called out, the camera cut to John Barrowman, Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean making their way down to the ice to offer their congratulations.

All four appeared stumped by the news, with John even seen saying “wow” to Jayne, with his mouth wide open as she turned to him.

Ashley also appeared to be confused by the turn of events, with the 31-year-old star close friends with finalist Perri.

The foursome all clapped in disbelief – with Joe’s girlfriend Stacey Solomon and oldest son Harry spotted cheering in the crowd.

Proud Stacey also took to her Instagram page to pay touching tribute to her boyfriend after his win.

Fans at home were also unable to hide their disbelief, with some flocking to social media to claim that Perri, and his professional partner Vanessa Bauer, had been “robbed”.

Perri braved a daring back flip on the ice during one of his final performances, with judge Chris also calling the star’s Bolero “the best we’ve ever seen”.

Meanwhile, Joe paid touching tribute to his close friend Caroline Flack during his routine.

The TV favourite was left devastated by his pal’s tragic death last month, and included a “Be Kind” poster as a prop for his performance in a secret nod to the star.
