    CHADWICK Boseman didn’t let his cancer diagnosis stop him from working.

    The late actor, who died on Friday after battling colon cancer for four years, filmed several movies while undergoing chemotherapy and between “countless surgeries” prior to his death.

    After being diagnosed in 2016, Chadwick went on act in movies including Marshall (2017), Black Panther (2008), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2018), 21 Bridges (2019) and Da 5 Bloods (2020).

    His final acting role will be in the upcoming film August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, while a Black Panther sequel was expected to come out in 2022.

    In a statement about his death, his family wrote: “A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more — all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.

    “It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther.”

    Chadwick starred as Thurgood Marshall, the first black Supreme Court Justice, in 2017’s Marshall.

    Chadwick will next appear in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom opposite Viola Davis

    The film followed Marshall on the first case of his career, the State of Connecticut v. Joseph Spell.

    He was critically praised for his work in Marshall, which also starred Kate Hudson and Sterling K. Brown.

    The actor recently appeared in Spike Lee’s 2020 film Da 5 Bloods as “Stormin’” Norman Earl Holloway, a US Army soldier that was killed during the Vietnam War.

    He can next be seen opposite Viola Davis in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.

    Based on the 1982 play of the same name, the film will follow the titular character’s band members are they gather in Chicago to record a new album.

    The actor kept busy acting despite his illness

    Chadwick had not publicly spoken about his illness before his death.

    However, his passing comes following months of fans worrying for the Marvel star’s health after he was pictured with drastic weight loss.

    Back in April, he displayed a slimmer frame while picking up an Apple TV at Best Buy with his wife, Taylor Simone Ledward.

    The outing was followed by a video being posted to his Instagram account that alarmed fans with his slender face.

    Fans noticed that he looked frail in April
