ADELE Roberts became the first I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star to be eliminated after just 13 days in the jungle.

The 40-year-old DJ appeared unbothered by her elimination as she backed Nadine Coyle to be crowned the Queen of the Jungle.

Adele was the first celebrity to be eliminated from this year’s jungle

Following an issue with the voting app, I’m A Celeb bosses were forced to ditch the free votes that had been issued by viewers, with the result decided by phone votes alone.

Adele and Girls Aloud star Nadine were in the bottom two, with the Irish beauty surviving another day in the outback.

Speaking to hosts Ant and Dec after her elimination, Adele shared: “I am just amazed that I lasted that long.

“I am glad that I lasted without saying ‘Im A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’, I felt like I was going to say it many times.”

The star had to say goodbye to her fellow campmates

On leaving first, she added: “I feel like at least I’m first at something, I’ll take it, it’s fine.

“I went in the jungle to challenge myself and not be scared of things. I thought: ‘Give it a go and see what happens.’

“Without a doubt, I’m stronger than I realised and there’s so many things I can do it’s just the way that you view things.”

She joked: “I won’t be scared of a spider in the bath now.”

Adele’s luxury item was a framed photo of Jane McDonald

Ant and Dec had to ask her about her surprise choice of luxury item, with Adele and her campmate Roman Kemp clashing when he asked her why she’d brought in a framed photo of Jane McDonald.

Explaining her decision, the star said: “When it’s early in the morning and I’ve got to get up at 2am to be on the radio at 4, she wakes me up and makes me smile.

“I think it’s because with my friends and family and girlfriend I couldn’t choose [a photo of] just one person, so she’s the next best thing.”

Adele also gushed about her close bond with the other female campmates in this year’s series of the ITV show, detailing how she and transgender Caitlyn Jenner were particularly close as two members of the LGBT+ community.
The star said she bonded with Caitlyn Jenner as they are both members of the LGBTQ community

She said: “We are both part of the LGBTQ community, there’s stuff that we know about each other without even having to say anything.”

Earlier this week, the celebrities became “cursed”, and had to battle each other in a series of gory trials to become “uncursed” and win immunity.

One of the trials was Sickening Circus, with the stars going head-to-head as they downed stomach-turning drinks of blended pig brain, crocodile penis, and fish eyes – to name a few.

Nadine, Andrew Maxwell, Cliff Parasi, Andy Whyment, Jacqueline Jossa, and Caitlyn Jenner all lost – putting them up for elimination via the public vote.

The second trial saw Adele, Roman, Myles Stephenson, James Haskell, Ian Wright, and Kate Garraway sit in bath tubs full of animal blood and guts.

It was then a battle to see which three celebs could fill up a clear large tube next to their tub with the contents of the bath in the quickest time.

Myles, James, and Ian won the challenge, with the other three joining their fellow cursed celebrities to face the first public vote off.
