I’M A Celebrity host Ant McPartlin paid a rare tribute to girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett on the show’s gruesome finale tonight.
The 45-year-old star said being at home with her was his “happy place” when asked by Jordan North in the middle of a gruesome trial.
Jordan tried to distract himself during his trial – where he was entombed in a cage surrounded by snakes – by chatting to the hosts.
The 30-year-old DJ asked Ant and Dec to name their “happy place”, telling Ant: “You go first.”
He replied, emotionally: “At home with my girlfriend and the kids.”
The Radio 1 star replied from his snake-ridden tomb, where he was being tormented yet again: “Oh, that’s lovely.”
Anne-Marie, 43, was Ant’s personal assistant and they got together in the wake of his split from wife Lisa Armstrong.
She separated from her husband Scott, with whom she has two children, in October 2017.
Anne-Marie has been by Ant’s side through his “lowest depths” and her support has helped him on the road to recovery when he was convicted of drink driving.
