FOOTBALL icon David Ginola said the thing he missed most was daily romps with his model girlfriend.
The Spurs and Newcastle legend said being apart from 32-year-old Maeva Denat made his time in camp more difficult.
Asked what was the thing he longed for above all while in Gwrych Castle, he told HOAR: “What I missed most was making love — especially when you do it every day.”
He added: “In the castle, I missed many things. I missed food, because rice and beans is good for a few days but after two and a half weeks… You know, I don’t think I’m going to eat beans for the rest of my life.
“The cold was really a massive aspect of life in the castle. I don’t know what you do in your country, but you have so much water. I mean, it’s just amazing. Every day it was rain.”
David, 54, came fourth in this year’s series, getting the boot on Saturday night.
And he hit back at claims he reduced ex-BBC Breakfast host Louise Minchin to tears.
We told yesterday how he turned on Louise after she was given the job of allocating camp chores — telling her off for being “too bossy”.
But speaking after he left camp, he told HOAR: “It is not true. OK. She didn’t cry. I just made a point on the fact that being leader of the camp doesn’t mean that you are leading the town.”
He went on: “You are not in the army. We are not like we are soldiers. We are just making a show for the people.

“And I just wanted to say, ‘Don’t take it too seriously, don’t be too bossy.’”
Louise, 53, said she was so upset after the row, she broke down away from the cameras.
She said: “Everyone has tough days in camp and that was a tough day. Other things had already upset me. But that was the trigger that left me in tears.”
