GEMMA Collins has today bravely revealed how she was robbed and attacked 24 hours before flying to I’m A Celebrity.

The Towie star, 41, made the revelation just hours after HOAR exclusively revealed Olivia Attwood had quit the jungle after just one day.

Gem’s admission came after Olivia Attwood quit the jungle

Gemma took part in I’m A Celebrity back in 2014, but famously quit the show after just 72 hours in camp.

During her brief time in the jungle she was seen complaining over the lack of food and far-from plush environment – with many suggesting this was the reason she left.

But now the brave TV star has revealed the secret pain, both emotional and physical, she was battling when she entered the Aussie camp.

Gemma made the revelation today in an Instagram post to wish this year’s campmates good luck.

Giving some insight into the reason behind her departure in season 14, the star explained that she couldn’t see the jungle experience through while recovering from the attack.

Gem penned to her 2.2M followers: “Wishing everyone the best of luck in the jungle this season loved @boygeorgeofficial and all the camp mates seem fabulous / my time was short in the jungle not many people know that I was robbed and physically attacked 24 hours before leaving for Australia.

“I didn’t want to let anyone down so I still went however I was in a terrible state and shock as you can imagine and couldn’t see it through I took lots of stick over it but if you was robbed and attacked and then sent into the jungle I’m sure you would have struggled too, I would never let anyone destroy my dreams again “

Gemma’s revelation comes after we revealed that Olivia was forced to leave the show due to medical reasons, after only one day in the jungle.

She is now already on her way home to be consoled by her fiancée Bradley Dack after trying in vain to beg show bosses to return to the camp.

Meanwhile, tonight Olivia broke her silence on her shock departure.

Writing on the star’s Instagram story this evening, a “Team Liv” spokesman wrote: “To say Olivia is heartbroken would be an understatement.

“She dreamed of doing I’m A Celebrity for years, and was absolutely loving every second of the show and throwing herself into jungle life feet first (just as we knew she would).

“However, for reasons beyond her control her journey has been cut short.

“Your support and kind words have meant the absolute world to her, now as much as it always has.

“You will hear the truth from Olivia in due course and she will be back on your screens in the New Year.

“Ps. Who’s going to roast Matt Hancock now??”

HOAR revealed this afternoon that Olivia will still receive her £125K fee for appearing on the show.
