GOOD Morning Britain host Kate Garraway – herself a former I’m A Celeb star – has hinted Matt Hancock has already broken a huge show rule.

The politician, 44, faced a tricky entry to the I’m A Celeb camp when he slipped on the metal bridge leading into the jungle.

Kate, 55, said she didn’t think it was allowed for the MP for West Suffolk to bathe in the rock pool

Yet that has been the least of his issues, with Matt‘s signing up and the revelation he will be paid at least £350,000 to appear on I’m A Celebrity causing huge public anger.

Meanwhile, a petition to ban him from the show reached 44,000 signatures – yet was to no avail.

Now Kate, who starred in the jungle camp in 2019, has suggested the former Secretary of State for Health has already flaunted the rules.

It came when she was addressing the fact Matt had taken his first jungle shower on Good Morning Britain.

A video played showing Matt washing his face and body in a rock pool next to the main shower.

Hinting this was not allowed, Kate, 55, said: “I’m not sure if you’re supposed to go into the pond with soap actually.

“That’s like a natural thing – I think you’re supposed to get in the jungle bath or shower.”

Co-host Ben Shephard quipped: “So he is now contaminating the local flora and fauna?” to which Kate said: “Ah I don’t know.

“I was trying to see if he had a bar of soap in his hand,” to which Ben joked: “He had a loofah.”

Talking of her jungle showers, Kate confessed: “You do feel filthy, so you do want to clean yourself.”

After completing his first trial on the jungle series with fellow new arrival Seann Walsh, Matt quickly stripped off to scrub off the gunge he’d been doused with.

In his red swimming trunks, the former health secretary sat down in a nearby lake rather than pulling an Owen Warner and having a moment in the iconic waterfall.

His unique way of bathing left Seann a little speechless, at one point realising he was staring at the MP before walking away.

Viewers were not impressed though, with it going down as well as his appearance in camp with his new campmates.

“We do NOT need shower shots of Matt Hancock thanks ITV,” wrote one.

“I didn’t even consider the Matt Hancock shower scene until just now,” said another.
