RICHARD Madeley shocked Good Morning Britain viewers this morning as he revealed his surprising connection to Sue Cleaver.
The presenter was chatting to the Corrie star today following her exit from the I’m A Celeb jungle when he shared that Sue’s half-sister, Emma, is the godmother to his children – Jack and Chloe.
Sue is related to actresses Emma and Kate Harbour, but only discovered they were her sisters when she reconnected with her birth mother.
Richard told her: “She sends her love, she thinks you did brilliantly.”
The actress, best known for playing Eileen Grimshaw, opened up about being adopted during her time in the jungle.
Speaking about sharing her story on today’s GMB, she said: “I have been quite private, I have never spoken about that out of respect for everyone.
“But I felt so comfortable in there with those people and (sisters) Emma and Kate, my brother and my mum said say whatever you feel, what you’re happy to feel, so I did.
“I think the one thing the world will realise about me is I don’t have a filter. You completely forget that the cameras are there.”
In the jungle, Sue told her campmates: “It was when I was at drama school, I was about 22 and Royal Exchange were looking for parts for Oedipus.”
She went on to reveal that when she walked in to the audition, one of the actors said she was the “double of her wife” when he met her.
He then asked Sue her date of birth, as well as where she was born, before adding: “He rung his wife and he said, ‘I’ve found her’.”
