One guest whinged the accommodation was “dark and dingy” with “no luxuries”.

Former guest Athena posted: “Rooms more like cabins, absolutely freezing, slept in a tracksuit and was still cold.”

Sir Mo Farah and AJ Prichard left the castle in a double eviction

He also suggested to sneak your own food in – just like Strictly dancer AJ Prichard tried earlier this week.

While Tracy B from Wigan wrote in October: “Room 301 was at the back of the building on the courtyard by itself on the ground floor and initially looked promising but was a huge disappointment – it smelled funny/unclean, was very cold, dark and dingy, with no apparent luxuries.

“On first impressions, we’ve stayed in nicer service station hotel rooms!”
