GOGGLEBOX’S Babatunde Aléshé shocked fans by becoming the first star to say “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here”.

The professional couch potato quit a terrifying trial before he’d even entered camp.

He shouted ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’

Babatunde pulled out of the Walk The Plank challenge after 45 minutes of deliberation.

His eyes filling with tears, the scared reality star joked: “It’s windy, that’s contributing to the water in my eyes…”

Also facing the vertigo-inducing walk was Loose Women’s Charlene White and England football star Jill Scott.

Charlene was up first and walked bit by bit to the end of the plank, waiting for Babatúndé to reach the end next.

He attempted to urge himself on, telling himself, “Just go! Just go!” but instead said “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!”

Speaking about why he chose to forfeit his go and star, Babatúndé told hosts Ant and Dec: “I said I was determined to be here. I wasn’t determined to be there [pointing to the plank].”

Charlene then had to wait for Jill to get to the end before they could both lean forward.

As Jill and Charlene took on the task, Babatunde was seen cheering them on with the hosts.

They completed the 60 seconds and both let go of the rope to complete the task and therefore earned two stars for camp.

Afterwards, Charlene admitted: “It’s going to take me a long time to process it.”

HOAR exclusively revealed the trial was too much for Babatunde earlier this week.

I’m A Celebrity has returned to its Australian base for the first time since 2019 after the pandemic forced ITV to stage its biggest show in Gwrych Castle, Wales.

The series has been brought forward this year to allow room in the schedules for the World Cup later in the month.

As part of this year’s bumper show, bosses have introduced a number of big twists which will delight viewers.

The format features new trials and will see half of the stars abandoned on a desert island before going into camp.

I’m A Celebrity is on at 9pm on ITV.
