ITV bosses have been forced to review their security arrangements after HOAR were offered access to the jungle by an ex-employee.

The disgruntled former staffer, who came forward to expose lapses in the shows ring of steel, said they could get us within 100 metres of this series stars.

The ITV show is filmed on a former banana plantation in Murwillumbah, New South Wales, and is manned 24 hours a day by burly security staff.

A source said: There are specific points on the site where security is lacking.

“Theres ways to get very close to the celebrities where you could shout and theyd hear you.

The former staff member came forward to try and expose the potential risks that the campmates could face if the information got in the wrong hands.

HOAR declined their offer to enter camp, before informing ITV of the potential for a breach.

An ITV spokesman said: We have a security team on site 24 hours a day and the safety of our celebrities and crew is of the utmost importance.
