I’M A Celeb star Danny Miller’s fiancée Steph Jones is reportedly “very unhappy” after Nicola McLean’s ‘game plan’ dig.
Nicola – who appeared on I’m A Celebrity in 2008, isn’t convinced that Danny is genuine after talking about gagging and throwing up.
After the Aaron Dingle actor, 30, was the first to be voted to take on the gruesome eating challenge, Nicola suggested that Danny tried to get himself voted for the dreaded task.
Nicola previously told the Daily Star: “I’m not sure whether Danny is already playing a game because I cannot see if you are that sort of… if you gag a lot, if you’re sick, you’ve already been sick twice in the helicopter and swallowed it, why would you carry on saying this, of course you know you’re gonna get the eating trial.”
Nicola continued: “I don’t know if he wanted the eating trial cause (sic) it is the best trial to get.
“It is disgusting but it is the best one ‘cause it’s the one people remember. I’m not upset if he’s playing the game but I can’t see that he’s not.”
But a source a source has exclusively told OK! that Danny’s fiancée Steph is feeling hurt by Nicola’s comments, especially because she “she doesn’t even know him”.
They said: “Steph is really unhappy with Nicola McLean, who is saying he’s got a game plan.
“Danny is the most genuine guy and Nicola doesn’t even know him.”
They added: “Steph has really taken it to heart and she finds what Nicola said hurtful because the only reason he’s doing the show is for his family.”
It comes after the ITV faced its first cheating row as viewers claim Emmerdale’s Danny cheated during the eating trial.
Viewers claim they spotted Danny throwing away a bull’s testicle away rather than eating it and even heard it ‘hit a wall’.

The Dreaded Diner task saw the new dad devouring cow teats and pig brain and competing against radio DJ Snoochie Shy to win meals for his camp.
At one point the pair were forced to each spin a wheel that could potentially upgrade their meal to a “meal with sides”.
Danny managed to swerve adding any extra disgusting dishes to his round, while Snoochie was forced to drink a blended pig’s uterus and eat vomit fruit.
While many fans claimed Snoochie should have won because she vomited less than Danny, others said he only made it through the gross challenge because he had ‘cheated’.
“Did no-one else notice Danny throw his bull’s testicle away instead of eating it? In the challenge, 44mins 11 seconds, you can hear it hit the wall! #ImACeleb,” wrote one outraged fan on Twitter.
Another added: “Didn’t Danny just throw half the penis behind him? #ImACeleb.”
And a third commented: “I’m sure Danny threw some of one of his meals behind him! #ImACeleb.”
While a fourth took things a step further: “I saw it – bl**dy cheat!”
The cheating scandal comes after viewers accused him of being rude to Ant and Dec after he brutally snapped at them during Monday night’s episode.
Danny fumed at I’m A Celebrity hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly during his gruelling bush tucker trial – and fans were quick to notice.
During the trial, Ant and Dec attempted to encourage him, but it didn’t work as he groaned at the pair: “You two are doing my head in already”.
Fortunately, the presenter’s backhanded his comment in jest and began laughing as Danny walked up to the ‘Meal or No Meal’ wheel.
