OWEN Warner’s ‘hot brother’ has denied the I’m A Celeb star is being fake in camp.

It comes after the Hollyoaks actor had no idea his jungle buddy Mike Tindall was married to royalty and he didn’t know who Boy George or his fellow soap star Sue Cleaver were.

Then last night Owen, 23, confessed he had been saying the word “jetlag” all wrong for years.

He believed the word for flying long distance on little sleep was supposed to be “jetlack”.

His gaffes have had viewers laughing all week and led them to compare him to Joey Essex.

Now Owen’s brother Louie has insisted the actor is the real deal.

He told ITV’s Lorraine today: “He does have his ditsy moments but he’s not stupid at all. He’s actually really switched on.

“But his brain works in a different way so he might come across as, well you might think ‘that’s a bit stupid’. But sometimes you then think, in his own way, it makes a bit of sense.”

He added: “It’s nice to see him so welcomed when he is being himself, because back at home he is so precious, and the whole of the UK is finding out.

“He’s brilliant, and I’m so happy the rest of the UK is warming to him.”

Louie‘s TV appearance come after fans said they feared Owen was being bullied in the jungle by radio DJ Chris Moyles.

Chris decided to have some fun at Owen’s expense four days into the show.

Chris, 48, managed to convince Owen, 23, that he is a three-times British champion dancer.

Owen believed Chris without question – but some fans think the former Radio 1 star took things too far.

One wrote: “Watched #ImACeleb and can’t understand why Chris Moyles is being allowed to get away with bullying Owen.”

Another said: “We all knew a dick at school that acted the way Chris Moyles acts towards Owen. Cheap laughs at an easy target.”

And a third added: “Chris taking p*ss out of Owen says so much more Chris than it does about Owen.”
