I’M A Celebrity…South Africa fans were all left with the same grumble as the series came to a dramatic climax.

Viewers tuned in to the final to discover who had been crowned the ultimate I’m a Celebrity legend – but found themselves twiddling their thumbs.

Myleene Klass and Jordan Banjo went head-to-head in the final
I’m A Celeb fans accused bosses of ‘dragging’ the last episode out

Bosses extended the finale episode by 30 minutes, but some people watching at home accused them of ‘dragging it out’.

One frustrated fan tweeted: “Talk about dragging out the adverts, #ImACeleb could be over in half hour if they just got on with it.”

Another added: “Can we please just get to the bloody point and no more of this filler crap!”

By 9.45pm, a third asked: “What on earth are they filling the rest of the show with? It’s on til 2230.”

And someone else also said: “@imacelebrity is on till 10.30pm? Surely can be done in an hour.”

The finale episode began with Myleene Klass, Jordan Banjo and Fatima Whitbread being announced as the finalists.

They then went head-to-head in a tricky task involving glass boxes, critters and snakes.

Each with their heads in the tanks and feet surrounded by bugs, they had to mentally count six minutes before pressing a button.

Myleene and Jordan were the closest, but Fatima somehow managed to count to 15 minutes – so was sent home.

Before the winner was announced, Myleene and Jordan were faced with one final eating task. Dishes included fermented eggs and pig snouts.
