I’M A CELEBRITY fans have been left baffled after Olivia Attwood ‘disappears’ from camp with no explanation.

The Love Island star sadly had to pull out of the loved jungle series after less than 24 hours on the show on medical grounds, though no further explanation has yet to be given.

Olivia was forced to quit the series after less than 24 hours on medical grounds
Ant and Dec informed viewers of Olivia’s removal but the scenes weren’t shown

Hosts Ant and Dec told viewers about her absence on Monday night’s episode, with her final scenes airing that evening, including a bushtucker trial and her entrance into the official camp.

However, by Tuesday she was gone, and viewers weren’t shown the moment the rest of the campmates were told, or discovered what medical issue was raised in order for her to be pulled from the series she was clearly so eager to take part in.

Viewers were therefore left questioning why things were carrying on as normal without any further explanation, and wondered what exactly happened to Olivia, who has since been flown back to the UK.

It’s believed that by needing medical attention overnight, she broke the show’s Covid bubble to seek treatment, and as such wasn’t allowed back in.

“Just realised Olivia’s gone in this episode but we didn’t find out why,” wrote one, as a second wrote: “Looks like olivia didn’t even get a mention about her leaving.”

“Did I miss them officially saying Olivia is gone?” asked another, and when they were informed of Ant and Dec’s announcement, but no scenes, they added: “Bit lousy not to…. Especially as she seemed to be getting stuck in, trial wise.”

While another hoped she was OK and noted: “Must’ve been serious with Olivia, no footage or discussion of her leaving the jungle, just a quick mention by Dec last night.”

Olivia’s team has only released one short statement about her swift exit, writing on Instagram: “To say Olivia is heartbroken would be an understatement.

“She dreamed of doing I’m A Celebrity for years, and was absolutely loving every second of the show and throwing herself into jungle life feet first (just as we knew she would).

“However, for reasons beyond her control her journey has been cut short. Your support and kind words have meant the absolute world to her, now as much as it always has.

“You will hear the truth from Olivia in due course and she will be back on your screens in the New Year.”Ps. Who’s going to roast Matt Hancock now??”

The move was so sudden that even her mum admitted she didn’t know what had happened, and wrote online: “Thank you for all your kind messages.

“We don’t know exactly what happened at the moment. Please see Olivia’s Instagram post.”

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here airs weekdays at 9pm on ITV.
