I’M A Celebrity has switched up a huge fan favourite feature on the reality TV series.

The iconic Dingo Dollar challenge – where I’m A Celebrity campmates can scoop a treat for themselves and their jungle pals such as chocolate, cheese and tasty desserts – has been scrapped.

I’m A Celeb’s iconic Dingo Dollar challenge has been given a huge re-vamp
While the celebs still need to bag Dingo Dollars to spend, Kiosk Kev will now front the Kev’s Deals On Wheels segment

Kiosk Kev took over the reins of the Outback Shack in 2019 following Kiosk Keith’s sacking back in 2018.

Back then, the ITV celebs were tasked with answering Kiosk Kev‘s 50-50 question correctly to bag the treats.

Then it was time for Kiosk Cledwyn to step in with his Coins Challenge as I’m A Celebrity moved to Wales for two years during the coronavirus pandemic.

Now the segment has been re-branded completely with the Dingo Dollars task re-branded to the Deals on Wheels challenge.

Kiosk Kev remains, as does the Dingo Dollars currency, yet the campmates will approach Kev’s eco-friendly, cork-adorned shop on two wheels.

For the first Deals on Wheels challenge of 2022, Owen Warner and Jill Scott were offered some custard creams after completing the Spaghetti Crossword task.

They were still challenged with a two-answer question yet thankfully chose the correct response to take the sweet treats back to camp.

Meanwhile, there was still a nod to the past format of the challenge.

Eagle-eyed viewers spotted an image of Kiosk Cledwyn propped up on the eccentric bike, surrounded by cuddly koala bears.

Previously, host Dec Donnelly told how the crew could enjoy eating the tasty Dingo Dollar treats if the celebs weren’t successful in scooping them for themselves.

Viewers were left wondering what happens to all the food up for grabs.

One asked Dec on Twitter: “@antanddec what happens to the treats that the campmates don’t win do you and @hollywills get to munch? #imaceleb”.

Replying from Ant and Dec’s official account, the anchor said: “They never make it to us. Crew get there first.”
