I’M A Celebrity’s return was called the best ever tonight as Nadine Coyle burst into tears, Ant & Dec had viewers in stitches and the stars made the most stylish arrivals in the show’s history.

It was as if Ant had never been away as he poked fun at best pal Dec’s height and traded gags about Prince Andrew’s car crash Newsnight interview the night before.

Nadine Coyle was the first star to burst into tears as she was faced with a skydive

Perhaps the most dramatic moment came as Nadine, who begged producers not to make her skydive in her VT, broke down in tears ahead of a 10,000ft plane jump.

She was comforted by co-star Caitlyn Jenner, who hugged her and reassured it would be OK.

Both women successfully jumped out the plane to complete the terrifying Pontoon Of Doom challenge.

There were sweaty palms galore at the top of the 334ft Focus Tower as six of the celebs took on the famous Plank Challenge, this year with an added twist.

Ant and Dec were on fine form

I’m A Celebrity returned in serious style tonight as 10 famous faces arrived in supercars and boarded a luxury yacht

The celebs had to climb down a ladder and hit a button with one leg.

Viewers got a bulge eye view as the guys tried to balance in the windy conditions.

All six managed to complete the challenge, even Kate Garraway, who had a momentary wobble.

As the first celeb to arrive, Ian Wright relished a ride in a red Ferrari.

Rak-Su singer Myles Stephenson was blown away by the lavish introduction to the show, admitting he’d never been on a yacht.

Nadine and Kate Garraway sped towards the huge boat in a white Lamborghini, before sipping cocktails aboard the Cosmos.

TV and radio presenter Kate said that she wanted to “do everything” and be braver as she promised: “I’m going to give it the best shot I’ve got.”

Last up to the yacht was ex-England rugby player James Haskell who claimed that he had never watched the show.

Roman Kemp joked he was the fifth most famous Kemp out there

The celebs were in high spirits to kickstart the show

As the boat left the jetty, a speedboat raced past carrying Capital Radio DJ Roman Kemp.

The cheeky star joked he was only the fifth most famous Kemp out there behind his relatives and ex-EastEnder Ross Kemp.

Jacqueline Jossa was next and admitted she would be the campmate who cries a lot.

Comedian Andrew Maxwell was self-deprecating, claiming no one would know him while Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts was visibly excited to be on the show.

Ant and Dec were the final famous faces to appear and they looked relaxed and cool on their own boat

Saving the biggest name to last, Caitlyn Jenner cruised towards the jetty and waved at her co-stars.

“Oh my god, that’s Caitlyn Jenner” shouted Kate as the Olympian and TV personality sped past in her boat.

The boys told Ian, Nadine, Myles, Kate and James they would be taking part in a swimming race for the right to pick their partners.

James and Myles were neck and neck, but the singer was judged to have grabbed his finish flag first and opted to choose Roman while James picked Caitlyn.

Nadine chose Adele, Ian went for Jacqueline and finally Kate chose Andrew.
