I’M A CELEBRITY is officially back and even though we’re 20 years into the series, it seems some fans have picked up on something celebs haven’t.

Viewers were introduced to the original line-up of this year’s series, which for the first half included the notorious plan challenge that required them to jump off a building.

Charlene White and Jill Scott had to jump off a high rise building in their first stunt

While Chris Moyles and Olivia Attwood managed to avoid the first challenge and live life as Jungle VIPs for a little longer, viewers sat with their hands over their eyes as Loose Women’s Charlene White, comedian Babatunde Aleshe and Lioness Jill Scott had to stand on a tiny ledge in the wind before jumping off.

Before even entering the show, Moyles made no secret of the fact that he hated heights, with Babatunde later ducking out of the challenge after getting vertigo too.

Jill and Charlene however successfully completed the challenge, earning two stars each for camp that evening to start up their experience on the show.

But fans at home found themselves a bit stumped that celebs would even sign up to the series knowing they had phobias.

“I feel like telling Babatunde ‘MATE don’t tell them what you’re scared of’” wrote one fan.

Another said: “Celebs never learn do they? Don’t admit you are scared of something. The public are voting for you.”

“come on guys you should know the drill by now- don’t list off everything you’re scared of or you’ll 100% be voted to do those trials,” said a third.

Jill, Charlene and Babatunde weren’t the only ones thrown into the action – with Chris and Olivia later told they would have to skydive to get into camp.

This year’s I’m a Celebrity campers will be trading in their comfy lives and luxuries to brave the elements in Australia’s jungle campsite.

This is the show’s triumphant return to their Gold Coast home after Covid travel restrictions forced them to relocate to Gwyrch Castle, Wales for the past two years.

The original line-up for the series comprises of: Hollyoaks’ Owen Warner, 80s legend Boy George, comedian Babatunde Aleshe, Love Island star Olivia Attwood, Loose Women’s Charlene White, radio DJ Chris Moyles, Coronation Street’s Sue Cleaver, rugby Royal Mike Tindall, England football star Jill Scott, and TV presenter Scarlette Douglas.

They will be joined in a few days time by stand-up comic Seann Walsh, and former health secretary Matt Hancock.

Bushtucker trials will, as always, be voted for by the public for the first half of the series, before the public vote switches to who to vote out of the jungle.

Who will take over the crown from reigning champion, Emmerdale’s Danny Miller?

I’m A Celebrity airs weekdays at 9pm on ITV.
