I’M A Celebrity fans spotted Owen Warner’s infatuation with a fellow campmate last night.
The Hollyoaks actor melted hearts when he gushed about Mike Tindall in the Bush Telegraph.
It came shortly after the celebs listened to Mike, 44, telling stories from his rugby days.
Babatunde kicked off the conversation and said: “I could never play rugby, that looks painful!”
Owen, who is the youngest camper at 23, jumped in and asked: “Have you ever been knocked out on the pitch?”
“I haven’t been knocked out. Never,” Mike said.
“I’ve had flashing stars twice. But that’s about it. Normally you bang your head on the floor or something.”
There were gasps around the camp when he said: “I’ve broken my ribs, punctured my lung and lacerated my liver.”
Owen was left dumbfounded by his story and said: “Lacerated? I don’t even know what that means. It sounds lethal.”
“Honestly if he was my dad I would be gassed. I love my own dad. But I would be buzzing.”
Viewers loved seeing smitten Owen talking about his co-star – while sharing dozens of memes on Twitter about how his dad would have reacted.
Another said: “Owen imagining Mike was his dad at 44. I mean I know it’s possible but come on ffs. He’s a very immature 23 year old that one.”
Others wondered if was faking his admiration for Mike, and one said: “The overused fake ‘thick card’ hasn’t been funny since 2013…”
It comes after Owen revealed he had no idea who Mike’s wife Zara was.
