But he’ll need to get used to it, if Sun readers are anything to go by.
An exclusive poll shows two-thirds of you are voting for the disgraced MP to face every grisly Bushtucker Trial of this year’s series.
A whopping 20,114 votes were cast, with some 52 per cent saying they had voted for him to suffer every trial of the series so far.
Another 14 per cent said they had not yet but intended to.
Viewers say they plan to exact their revenge on Hancock after HOAR exposed him for having an affair with his closest aide and now-girlfriend Gina Coladangelo – breaking his own coronavirus rules in the process.
His role on the ITV show has angered many who feel the West Sussex MP should be at home serving his constituents.
In our poll of Sun readers, 69 per cent said the West Sussex MP should donate his full fee to charity.
Matt has said he would donate “some” to good causes.
But the tide of public opinion could be turning, with a cautious 29 per cent admitting they had “seen a new side” of Hancock.
Some 48 per cent say they are “still not a fan”, though.
But 23 per cent said they had a hunch that Matt could be King of the Jungle while 35 per cent said they thought he might make the final, but not win.
Finally, we asked Sun readers if they thought Hancock should have signed up in the first place – 27 per cent said yes, while 50 per cent said they were shocked.
The rest were undecided.
