The I’m A Celeb star revealed the cheek-puffing move on ITV this afternoon

Appearing live from her accommodation in North Wales, where she show is filmed, she was asked if she sneakily communicated.

Frankie explained: “My youngster Carter. I asked can I just blow a kiss or something like that – or something a bit more subtle.

“He decided that my signal for them was this.”

She then puffed out her cheeks – to laughter from her co-stars back in the Loose Women studio in London.

The singer added: “So I did try and do both a couple of times but I started worrying that it looked like I was starting to lose the plot so I had to pick one or the other.”

Frankie was last night named as one of the show’s runner-up stars, coming third behind Coronation Street’s Simon Gregson and winner, Emmerdale actor Danny Miller.

She said she delighted to come in third because it was two places better than her husband Wayne – who finished fifth – achieved.

The pair – who share children Parker, eight, and Carter, six – admitted to having what they called “healthy competition” between them.

Speaking to Ant and Dec after leaving the show Frankie said: “I really like to push myself and do things that take me outside my comfort zone.

“Being a naturally anxious person I wanted to prove myself wrong and that I could do things and come out smiling at the end.”

Of her journey, she said: “It is such a rollercoaster in there, I’ve never been in a situation where your emotions can be up here and then down here.

“There were days where I wanted to go home and others where I thought there is no place I would rather be.”
