I’M A Celeb’s Matt Hancock has been banned from Jonathan Ross’ talk show after the ITV star branded him ‘horrible’.

The former Health Secretary is one of 11 famous faces taking part in this year’s series of the programme.

Jonathan‘s programme The Jonathan Ross Show has been on our screens since 2011.

Over the years, the TV star has interviewed over 1000 celebrities over 19 series.

And it looks like Matt, 44, definitely won’t be welcomed onto his sofa.

Jonathan told the Sunday People : “No, I wouldn’t. He’s not a celebrity.

“He’s a horrible human being and I cannot bear the way people take no responsibility for their actions.”

Matt was sacked from his Secretary of State role during the coronavirus pandemic for breaking Covid rules with aide Gina Coladangelo.

He entered the jungle alongside comedian Seann Walsh as a late comer.

At the start of his stint in the jungle he was voted for pretty much every Bushtucker Trial and managed to bring an impressive amount of stars back to camp.

Matt told the rest of his co-stars that he is “seeking a bit of forgiveness” over what happened during the pandemic.

After it was revealed that the MP had broken his own rules after having an affair, he resigned from his position as Health Secretary.

The UK were shocked when it was revealed that he was to be one of this year’s contestants on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here – a decision that led to his suspension from the Conservative party.

He has also been suspended from the party whip – a disciplinary move in parliament which means he has been kicked out of the Conservative Party but remains an MP.

Jonathan certainly isn’t forgiving of what happened.

Speaking about how he has lost the Tory whip, Jonathan added: “He was very bad when he was in office and he’s – remarkably – even worse now he’s out of it!”
