BOY GEORGE’s manager is terrified he’ll kick off at Charlene White in the I’m A Celeb jungle after the newsreader hogged the cooking in camp.
Mum-of-two Charlene has taken the role of matriarch and George feels like he’s tied to her apron strings.
Last night the pop icon begged Charlene to give him a role in the kitchen as the celebs struggle to kick their boredom.
However, his manager Paul Kemsley has now spoken out about the singer’s stint.
He appeared on This Morning today and Phillip Schofield remarked: “He’s going to kick off at some point, isn’t he?”
Paul replied: “Yeah probably.
“I mean we’ve had early signs of it. There was a terrible trauma, undercooked mushrooms was the start of it.
“But the thing is with George, he gets over it very quickly. He has to get it out, talk to someone, and then provided he’s had that voice, he’ll get over it.”
Paul later added: “I’m definitely not ‘hoping’ he’ll kick off!”
Loose Women anchor Charlene, 42, irked some I’m A Celebrity campmates after commandeering the food rations too – before issuing “mum type” warnings about how to handle chillis correctly.
On Tuesday, Culture Club singer Boy George also lost his temper and stormed out of camp for some alone time.
Meanwhile, last night, Boy George took it upon himself to confront so-called “bossy boots” Charlene.
As Scarlette said she was going to do the dunny cleaning, Boy George said to Charlene: “It might be good to say to people, ‘Right you do this today.’
“Otherwise I’m going to feel like I’m not doing anything. I want to win stars, that’s my main thing, I’m going to do everything I can to get stars. I want to contribute.
“You’re very strong. Listen, you’re such a beautiful contradiction because you’re like tough, and then you’ve got this beautiful side to you.
“But it’s challenging for me. I have to say it’s challenging for me.”
Charlene asked: “Why?”
Boy George replied: “Because I’m such a control freak. It’s my stuff.”
