LOVE Island star Olivia Attwood has revealed that she has forked out thousands to make sure she looks flawless after giving up her make-up in the jungle.
The reality star, 31, revealed to the Sun that she has spared no expense on beauty treatments before heading Down Under to star alongside pop icon Boy George and Corrie’s Sue Cleaver.
“I did eyebrows, tint and lamination, my lip blush tattoo top up so it looks like I’ve got a bit of lippy on! It’s gone a bit too red in the sun but that’s fine – better than nothing!”
She continued: “I did botox and a facial and that’s it. I also cut three inches off my hair, it’s not short, it’s still long, just to make it a bit more manageable.
“I cut my nails short and square, which is not my normal go-to, it feels really strange but yeah just so I can actually use my hands to do something useful instead of breaking a nail.”
But while she is no stranger to red carpets, Olivia, who rose to fame on Love Island in 2017 before landing a part of The Only Way Is Essex, said she cannot wait to go without her glam.
“It’s weirdly exciting to strip back and go back to basics.
“When I’m working or filming it’s like makeup, hair, clothes, it takes up so much of my life and I get sick to death of doing it.
“It’s nice going into a show where I don’t have to pack a suitcase, plan outfits, worry about doing my makeup, it’s quite a nice feeling.”
Admitting that her Blackburn Rovers footballer fiancé Bradley Dack, 28, has warned her not to parade around the camp in her thong, Olivia revealed that she won’t shy away from flaunting her figure.
“I am pretty relaxed, I was on Love Island in a bikini on TV every single day for ten weeks. It’s no big deal to me.
“There’s not as much focus on that in this show because there’s a lot more going on but Brad is obviously just a bit worried about the other boys checking me out.”
