KENDALL Jenner has finally broken her silence on dad Caitlyn’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! journey following backlash from fans.
The 24-year-old model took to her Instagram Story earlier this evening to throw her support behind the 70-year-old star.
Sharing a clip of Caitlyn practising Girls Aloud’s The Promise routine with Jacqueline Jossa, Adele Roberts, and Nadine Coyle in the jungle, Kendall wrote: “Always rooting for you, strongest person on the planet.”
Adding a heart emoji, the brunette beauty hit out at critics as she continued: “Just because I am not posting doesn’t mean I’m not supporting.
“I love my dad! Everyone chill.”
Viewers were previously left fuming when Caitlyn was seemingly snubbed by her famous family when she received a care package from her DOGS.
The contestants were all given a surprise from home, which included letters and gifts from their loved ones.
While many of the stars were in tears following heartfelt messages from their nearest and dearest, Caitlyn seemed disappointed by the photo of her pooches.
Despite not publicly commenting until this evening, eagle-eyed fans had already noticed that both Kendall and her sister Kylie have been liking social media posts about Caitlyn’s time on the show.
The former Olympian’s step-daughter Kim Kardashian was the first family member to break her silence on the show on Twitter.
The 39-year-old reality star posted a video of the moment her ex step-dad woke up camp by shouting “rise and shine” at a sleepy Myles Stephenson and Roman Kemp, an apparent nod to daughter Kylie.
She tweeted the video from the official ITV account for the show, writing: “I literally recorded this and set this as my alarm a few weeks ago.”
Caitlyn was married to Kim’s mum Kris Jenner from 1991 until 2014, with the star also step-dad to Khloe, Kourtney, and Rob Kardashian.
Her campmate Myles will no doubt be delighted to know that Kendall is supporting her dad and watching the show, admitting that he wanted to “wife” her in yesterday’s episode.
Caitlyn looked uncomfortable as the enthusiastic singer refused to hide his admiration for her stunning daughter.
He said at the time: “I loveKendall, I’d marry Kendall tomorrow.
“I’ll be a house-husband, I’ll cook.”
Myles continued in the Bush Telegraph: “Imagine, Kendall Jenner-Stephenson.
“We are going to make some beautiful children.”
