I’M A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! fans have been left feeling green around the gills after watching Mike Tindall tucking into kangaroo bum.

The rugby champ, 44, happily chowed down on the grim dinner from a metal dish alongside his fellow celebs in the main camp.

I’m A Celeb’s Mike Tindall has enjoyed his first taste of kangaroo bum
The rugby star told fans in the Bush Telegraph that it ‘tasted very good’

Mike, who is married to Princess Anne’s daughter Zara Tindall, polished off the lot before declaring that is was “very good”.

He said in the Bush Telegraph: “The kangaroo rump, or kangaroo bum – ultimately it is his bum – tasted very good.”

Fans, however, were left feeling a little sick about the thought of eating kangaroo backside.

One tweeted: “”Mike Tindall is used to eating like a king but now he’s eating a***!”

Another added: “2 minutes in and we’re already watching them eat a kangaroo’s a***.”

Someone else also chimed in: “I’d much rather have the rice and beans than a kangaroos bum. Ugh!”

The celebrities living in the main camp – Mike, Jill Scott, Charlene White, Sue Cleaver, Owen Warner, Babatunde Aleshe – were given kangaroo rump as a reward for winning stars.

England football star Jill also shared Mike’s enthusiasm, declaring: “Kangaroo’s backside – yeah, interesting. I’m looking forward to it. This whole jungle experience is about trying new things.”

Sue, who is famed for playing Eileen Grimshaw in Coronation Street, even joked: “Shall we open a cafe?!”

Meanwhile, over on the deserted island, Chris Moyles, Boy George, Scarlette Douglas and Olivia Attwood tucked into a dinner of rice and beans.

Chris said: “It tastes of nothing but it’s alright. I’m worried about in the middle of the night… but we’ll see how that goes.”

Giving his verdict, Boy George declared: “Dinner was basic.”

Olivia, meanwhile, admitted: “It’s so weird how it doesn’t taste of anything.”

She added: “It’s rice and beans, this is the I’m A Celebrity right of passage and it was OK. But then I eat a plain Nando’s, so who am I to complain about plain rice and beans?”

Olivia has now left I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! after she was withdrawn on medical grounds.

Her shock exit came less than 24 hours after the 2022 series premiered live from Australia.

The Love Island star has since broken her silence, insisting it was not her decision to leave and that she is “heartbroken”.

Her rep has not given specific details, but cryptically said: “You will hear the truth from her in due course.”
