I’M A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’s Nadine Coyle sparked huge confusion with a cheeky comment about Ian Wright as she is covered in slime for tonight’s Bushtucker Trial.

In a preview for the upcoming episode, the Girls Aloud star puts on a gutsy display as she tries to win food for camp – yet it is her bizarre remark about the former Arsenal player which took all the attention.

Nadine gets covered in vile green gunk for the latest trial

The challenge, called Movile Home, sees Nadine get covered in thick, lumpy gunk as she desperately tries to release stars by untying knots.

Hosts Ant and Dec reference her campmate Ian Wright’s struggle to untie the rope in his challenge the previous day, with Nadine quipping: “Ian said he had really sore fingers last night.

“I was like: ‘Do you want me to kiss them better?’”

The presenters – and those who watched the preview trailer – appeared hugely confused by the remark to the married sports ace.

Nadine still hasn’t bagged any meals for camp by the trial’s halfway point

It remains to be seen whether she will explain her quip further in tonight’s episode, when the full challenge is aired.

Nadine, 34, recently revealed she is back at home living with her mum and daughter, following her split from her ex Jason Bell.

Ian, meanwhile, was recently defended by his wife Nancy Hallam after he clashed with campmate Andrew Maxwell.

Back in the trial, after her comments, Irish beauty Nadine squeals as she admits: “This is quite horrendous.”

As she struggles to loosen the stars for the camp’s meal ticket, Nadine comments: “Wow, this is quite the slime.

“I’m going to need a shower after this.”

She later becomes so distracted by the vile green gunk that she forgets her instructions, asking the presenters to remind her what she has to do.

Viewers will need to tune in tonight to find out if Nadine is able to secure any meals for camp, with the preview showing that she still hasn’t bagged any stars halfway through her allocated time.

Nadine’s trial comes one day after Ian sparked outrage for refusing to do another Bushtucker Trial in a sweary rant.

Ian squealed and sobbed his way through a gruesome task after viewers voted for him to take part in Hell-Evator, securing just seven out of 11 stars.

Speaking to Andrew Maxwell afterwards, Ian lashed out as he said that he would refuse to do any further challenges – leaving fans furious.
