I’M A Celebrity’s Olivia Attwood shelled out thousands of pounds on beauty treatments to look jungle-perfect days before being forced to withdraw from camp.

The Love Island alumni, 31, was forced to quit the jungle after just 24 hours on medical grounds.

I’m A Celeb’s Olivia Attwood forked out thousands of pounds on cosmetic treatments before entering the jungle
These included facials and Botox

She had made history as the first ever contestant from the matchmaking series to star on I’m A Celeb.

Yet forking out on expensive cosmetic pep-ups to specifically ensure a glow during her time Down Under now seems time not-so-well spent.

The reality star previously revealed to the Sun that she spared no expense on beauty treatments before heading Down Under to star alongside pop icon Boy George and Corrie’s Sue Cleaver.

She said: “I did eyebrows, tint and lamination, my lip blush tattoo top up so it looks like I’ve got a bit of lippy on! It’s gone a bit too red in the sun but that’s fine – better than nothing!”

She continued: “I did botox and a facial and that’s it. I also cut three inches off my hair, it’s not short, it’s still long, just to make it a bit more manageable.

“I cut my nails short and square, which is not my normal go-to, it feels really strange but yeah just so I can actually use my hands to do something useful instead of breaking a nail.”

But while she is no stranger to red carpets, Olivia, who rose to fame on Love Island in 2017 before landing a part of The Only Way Is Essex, said she cannot wait to go without her glam.

She told us: “It’s weirdly exciting to strip back and go back to basics.

“When I’m working or filming it’s like makeup, hair, clothes, it takes up so much of my life and I get sick to death of doing it.

“It’s nice going into a show where I don’t have to pack a suitcase, plan outfits, worry about doing my makeup, it’s quite a nice feeling.”

Talking of her jungle exit yesterday, a show insider said: “Olivia was involved in a medical drama overnight.

“She really wanted to go back into the camp but medics won’t let her.”

A rep for I’m A Celebrity said:  “As a precautionary measure Olivia needed to leave the jungle to undergo some medical checks.

“Unfortunately the medical team has advised it is not safe for Olivia to return to camp as there needs to be a further investigation.  She has been absolutely brilliant and she’ll be very much missed on the show.”

Olivia is already on her way back home to fiancé Bradley Dack.

On Sunday, viewers watched Olivia make her entrance, when she was told by Ant and Dec that she had been voted as a Jungle VIP and was allowed to choose one person to join her for a meal – she picked Chris Moyles.

The reality TV star said: “I am equal parts flattered and unnerved the public voted for me to be a VIP… I’m guessing they know more of what that entails than I do.”

Yet the procedures were to no avail in maintaining her jungle glow after she was forced to quit camp

Botox and a haircut were also on Liv’s treatment list
