Vernon Kay makes the I’m A Celebrity final after getting soaked dressed as a knight in Celebrity Cyclone

VERNON Kay — who used to host diving show Splash — got soaked dressed as a knight in the Celebrity Cyclone.

The stars were pelted with water jets and bouncing balls in the 400th trial in the history of the ITV programme.

The final four donned medieval get-up and assumed their personas for the challenge.

Vernon dubbed himself Sir Lanky Lot, Shane Richie said “I’m Sir Twice A Knight”, Giovanna Fletcher called herself Lady Hugger and Jordan North was “Lord of the North”.

They managed to win a partridge for their dinner with just seconds to spare.

Vernon’s wife Tess Daly was left crying as her husband made the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! final.

Vernon and Jordan also dressed as elves for the Castle Coin Challenge

The 46-year-old star will now battle Giovanna Fletcher and Jordan North to be crowned King of the castle in tonight’s show.

Earlier Vernon and Jordan dressed as elves for the Castle Coin Challenge — where they had to wrap Christmas presents.

Vernon said: “We’re the best wrappers since… Eminem and Dr Dre got together.”
