JACQUELINE Jossa defied the odds and was crowned the winner of I’m A Celebrity 2019 on Sunday December 8 after beating runner-up Andy Whyment and third-place Roman Kemp.

Before the big reveal though, the finalists had to overcome one last Bushtucker Trial before they were joined by their campmates in the studio.

Who won I’m A Celebrity 2019?

We have a new Queen of the Jungle in town as Jacqueline Jossa was crowned the winner of I’m A Celebrity.

Speaking about winning the show she said “I can’t believe I’ve done all that stuff.”

In an emotional moment, she said that she felt the show had been a “turning point” in her life.

What was Jacqueline’s final Bushtucker Trial?

Jacqueline joined Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly in the trials area for her final time.

Ant and Dec explained her trial was called Stake Out which saw her having to lie down in a giant star on the floor with her arms and legs tied down while jungle critters were thrown at her.

First up was jungle slime, fish guts and mealworms on her left arm.

Ant asked Jacqueline what she was thinking during the trial and she replied: What Im going to have for my food, Im thinking spag bol and garlic bread.

Time was up and Jacqueline got the first star, next up was crickets, scorpions and cockroaches on her right arm, before green ants on her left leg.

Jacqueline said Oh no, theyre going to go up my nunny!.

She went on to win all five stars after cockroaches were placed on her right leg and spiders placed on her head.

Jacqueline’s final minute saw her carefully hold a spider in her mouth which she successfully did.

Afterwards Jacqueline joined Ant and Dec and joked Youre out of order Dec laughed and said You did it.

Ant confirmed shed won starters for camp, a drink and a special treat and Jacqueline was happy.

What does the I’m A Celebrity winner get?

Other than initial sign-up fee, celebrities don’t win anything else for being crowned the winner.

They don’t even get to keep the crown and the sceptre.

McFly’s Dougie Poynter, explained in Sunday Brunch in October that celebs must return the crown and sceptre after they’ve won.

You have to give that back, Dougie said. As soon as they cut and say you won, theyre like, Yeah, well take that back now thanks.

There are those who have been offered lucrative deals since the start of the show, with previous winners Georgia “Toff” Toffolo‘s net worth increasing by a staggering 1567% and Scarlett Moffatt went on I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp and had a part on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

What has Jacqueline Jossa said about being Queen of the Jungle?

Jacqueline has refused all television interviews since she won I’m A Celeb, deciding she would rather spend time with her family.

She did take to social media once the show had concluded and said a big thank you to everyone who voted for her to win.

“Hello everybody. thank you so much for voting for me if you voted it means the absolute world, I cannot quite believe it.”

“I just want to let you all know I’m absolutely fine, it’s been the best experience of my whole entire life.”

When is Coming Out on TV?

The I’m A Celebrity: Coming Out Show will air on Thursday, December 12, just four days after the I’m A Celeb final.

It will be broadcast on ITV from 9pm-9.55pm.

It’ll be hosted byAnthony McPartlinandDeclan Donnellyas usual.
