MIKE Tindall’s I’m a Celeb antics will be leaving his regal relatives “very upset and very sad” back at home, according to a royal expert.

The former rugby star has been an early hit with fans, but one royal biographer claims his behaviour won’t have gone over quite as well behind closed doors.

Mike Tindall has won fans over with his fun antics in the jungle
But the rugby star will have left his regal relatives ‘very upset’ back at home, according to a royal expert

Tindall stunned I’m a Celeb fans when he became the first member of the royal family to appear on the show.

And the England Rugby star has already won viewers over, leaving fans in stitches with his fun anecdotes and unexpected rapping skills.

But Royal expert Angela Levin said his regal relatives back in the UK won’t be happy with his antics on the hit ITV show.

She said Mike, who is married to King Charles’ niece Zara, will have left William and Kate “very upset and very sad” since he jetted off to the jungle.

Angela told HOAR: “What’s persuaded him? Is it because he’s bored and wants to have some fun? Is it because he’s desperate to earn more money?

“I think it brings the royal family into disrepute.

“I don’t think it’s the right thing to say that when he and Zara met they both discovered they like to get smashed.

“I don’t think that’s anybody’s business, I don’t think anybody should know.

“It was quite embarrassing to do rapping – I don’t think that suited him. Why is he there for goodness sake.

“I think that demeans not just his wife, but his mother in law Princess Anne – and other members of the royal family. It’s not just a joke.”

Mike is said to be netting £150,000 for his stint in the jungle, but as one of the richest stars to ever appear he has raised eyebrows over why he made the leap.

Angela added: “He’s not poor – why is he doing it?

“I can understand if people are at the end of their tether, they have no money, they want to go and see if they can earn a living.

“I think it’s very sad”.

With Meghan Markle causing a stir with her new Archetypes podcast across the pond, the royal expert fears Mike may be following a similar path.

“I think he disapproves of Meghan – there seen lots of pictures where he’s sort of  avoided her. And hasn’t spoken to Prince Harry either,” she said.

“It’s interesting because he’s a real support to the royal family. He’s close to William and he does his best.

“He always seem to fit in. Now he’s spreading out.

“I hope the rest of them don’t feel that now there’s a different monarch, King Charles, that he will allow all this.”
