ADELE joked she has signed up for reality show Love Island as she poked fun at her love life during her Saturday Night Live appearance.

Adele, 32, made a triumphant return to the spotlight as she hosted the popular US television show and showed off her recent weight loss.

Paying homage to US dating show, The Bachelor, Adele took part in a parody of the series and pretended to be one of the women hoping to win Ben K’s heart.

Introducing herself, she told viewers: “Hi, I’m Adele Adkins and I’m 32. You may know me for being the singer Adele.

“I’m here because I’ve had a lot of heartbreak in my life – first at 19 and then, sort of famously, at 21 and then, even more famously, at 25,” she joked, referencing the titles of her first three albums.

“I have a really good feeling about [The Bachelor] Ben. It’s only night one, but I can already tell he’s going to be the next love of my life,” she added.

The sketch saw Adele attempt to lure Ben away from the other female contestants by bursting into her hit songs such as Hello and Someone Like You.

The London-born singer looked incredible in a black embellished gown and wore her blonde locks down in loose curls.

When Ben K finally decided to give Adele the boot from the competition, she returned for one final sing song and received cheers from the live audience.

As she walked off set, she told viewers: “Thank you everyone, catch me next week on Love Island!”

Adele split from her husband Simon Konecki last year, and in September 2019 it was reported that she had filed for divorce.

The former couple share eight-year-old son Angelo and more recently Adele has been linked to 38-year-old rapper Skepta.

In September they were spotted on a night out together in London after months of being romantically linked to one another.

According to reports, they were seen giggling together inside virtual reality bar Otherworld before taking their booze into a VIP lounge.

They were joined by Jammer, an MC who belongs to Skepta’s grime collective Boy Better Know.

A source told HOAR: “We were asked to move from the lounge because a VIP was arriving. I couldn’t believe it when Adele just walked in with Skepta and Jammer.

“After doing the VR I saw her chatting to people and putting her boots back on. She seemed really down to earth.

“They were screaming and laughing when they were doing the VR together, I could hear her from the other end of the venue. It looked like they had a lot of fun together.”
