Caroline Flack’s new Channel 4 show The Surjury may be scrapped after her assault charge

She pleaded not guilty on Monday to attacking boyfriend Lewis Burton, 27, and will go on trial on March 4 for the charge of assault by beating.

Flacks new series The Surjury, in which members of the public would try to convince a panel into allowing them to have cosmetic procedures, is now in jeopardy.

A source said: Carolines looming court case and the bad publicity surrounding her has left a dark cloud over the show and Channel 4 do not want to associate themselves with Caroline at this time.

Its a devastating blow for her as it was a huge break into the mainstream.
