CURTIS Pritchard admits he is “really close” to Coronation Street star Kimberley Hart-Simpson amid romance rumours.
The Love Island star set tongues wagging when he was spotted lying next to the bombshell in bed in the Celebs Go Dating mansion during filming.
Now he admits that he is really into the 33-year-old beauty and he can tell her his innermost secrets.
He exclusively tells HOAR: “I did get on really well with Kimberly. It was great that I got the chance to live with her. Kimberly is an absolute legend.
“She is just a good laugh. In every way. You can just talk to somebody. She is really really down to earth and easy, that’s Kimberly. You know when there’s somebody that you just click with and you can feel like you can tell your secrets to somebody? That’s what Kimberly is.
“You feel like you can talk to her on a deep level. I really did click with her and she is a smashing girl.”
The 24 year old had a high profile relationship with his Love Island co-star Maura Higgins which ended in March 2020.
And earlier this month Curtis, who briefly dated Love Island’s Amy Hart on the show, hinted he had moved on from Maura in an emotional tribute to Kimberley.
He wrote next to a picture of them snuggled up together, Curtis said: “Kimberley is the best!!! Waking up and not seeing your face in the bed next to me this morning just didn’t feel right.”
Posting eight love heart emojis, Kimberley replied: “You da bestest.”
Curtis’s followers were quick to point out how Kimberley bears a striking resemblance to his ex Amy Hart.
One wrote: “Well he definitely has a type.”
Another said: “Is it just me or she looks a lot like Amy???????”
While someone else added: “That’s Amy’s double!”
Curtis and Kimberly were two of the seven stars chosen to take part in the E4 series.
The cast were put up in a £30million mansion with nine huge bedrooms, an indoor pool and games room.
Curtis lead the line-up with actress Kimberly, Geordie Shore’s Chloe Ferry, ex-Strictly contestant Karim Zeroual, Made In Chelsea’s Sophie Hermann, DJ Tom Zanetti and Wayne Lineker, brother of Gary.
Ballroom dancer Curtis, the brother of ex Strictly pro AJ, confessed he has only been on a handful of dates in his life and was excited to learn more about himself on the show.
On how he doesn’t care if the show gives off an impression that he Is desperate to meet someone, he said: “People will say I’m desperate, people will say I’m not desperate. But to me, I always just think I’m doing this because I’m gonna learn more about myself.
“I’ve never done dating because of my dancing, all my work, I’ve literally only ever been on about five dates in my life and I have only ever had two girlfriends.
“So really, for me, what I’ve missed out I’m now being able to experience it.”
